I must confess to using AI in a similar way to that visual artist, you discuss in you article, to write a poem. Am I a lesser poet for doing so. In my process I seed the bot with the right text and then edit the words until I feel it is what was inside me. I then become an artificial poet an augmentation, augmented man. The work is infinitely better and like the beautiful art you discuss offered with grace. Humans, I believe, evolve mentally and emotionally even spiritually much faster than physically and that distinguishes us from our cousins the apes and all the other animals and AI is that evolution. It is good work you write, you question human progress, but you will not stop it.
