The heat is on: a prose poem on the warming
Written with help from chat.openai and it’s insightful dialogue I found disturbing
The earth is heating and the temperature rise, the ice caps melt and into the sea may slide. Then the once lush forest will vanish and to you the same farewell. We all now wither and die, wither in heat extreme, and will be lost. Poor little animals, how they suffer, their habitats destroyed and as the earth grows even more devoid of beauty and life, it once was enjoyed. When they become extinct, will leave a stain on your soul, you of the warmings are its architect, the consuming man, your blood red hands they dig in the devouring earth.
You watch in horror, your actions to blame..watching as the earth is transformed into a desolate wasteland, that once was teaming with life and now is consumed by flames. All became of your reckless greed and what a foolish game you played. You must act now, but it is too late, nothing will turn back the tide and reverse your fate, before the earth is forever changed by the warmings deadly storm.
